possible Wave 4 on it way

From a couple of forums, there's a new video partition on it way out, Wave 4. So again that means, those on 1.6 will either have to use the active .iso for one time boot, await new firmware or can downgrade to 1.51.

1.51 has lower security on built in so does not check the video partition to see what wave it is. 1.6 has strict Wave 3 compliance

This is now confirmed so can expect titles such as Modern Warfare 2, Tekken 6 to be wave 4. The first game to see the new wave is Cars o Roma

Its all true ! But if its working on 1.5 that means they have gone backwards some what meaning that abgx360 can alter the security or Video sectors by patching the game ! possably no need for a new firmware ..... if its more backward compliant than forwards, it should not be an issue.

1 Burn 1.6 activate iso to disk
2 load 1.6 activate iso disk onto xbox360
3 let it load & then eject
4 load Game (Wave 4)
5 PLAY ...

i have the 1.6 firmware and go on live so what do this meen for me i cant use the 1.5 as i could get baned?

No they have not gone backwards. 1.51 was released when after wave 3 was brought out as a tempory fix. 1.6 was the proper fix and would not let hybrids boot ( wave 3 games patched to wave 2 ) 1.51 has no or little built in security checks hence thats why they boot up ok. Again you should run your games through ABGX to be certain.

No again its down to the people who create the ix firmware. Just be patient and see how it all pans out.

looks like l will have to knock out a few activate iso disc's for my m8s we all know where this is going wave 3 wave 4 wave 5 and so one . can this be burned to the first layer or spread over both ?

think l have an old hawks game here . well tried and see if one layers enough

HAwks game was the first wave 3 game. Think you burn the active iso that comes with your firmware file. Pop it in 360 for 1 time boot of games that dont boot.

To save doin this simply reflash to 1.51 for time being. But be aware that iso's should definatly be checked through and passed via ABGX

very possible that you could get a ban yes as it desables the security checks of the firmware in order for the game it dont recognise to boot

yea l only have one that was fixed to 1.51 when wave 3 first came out , must of binned the first bad releases ?
