    Updating old firmware

    Hello all!
So now that the release of wave 4 has arrived I just had a few questions. I never play on Xbox live and don't really feel like patching all my games and firmware over and over. I currently have iXtreme 1.4 installed on my 360. I was just wondering what firmware I needed to install (and where to find it), that doesn't have the stealth check so I can just play all my games and not have to worry about updating the firmware anymore. I have a BenQ drive as well.
    Thanks for any info!

Your on 1.4 you say? Well 2 options, patch or update.

A benq drive is 1 of the eaiest to do. No extra hardware needed if you have a compatable chipset on a motherboard on pc. If not, spend ?10 on a pci via 6421 raid card and update the firmware. Its simply read, create new then flash the drive.

There are plenty of stuff on here that will help you, or myself will. The jungleflasher guide is a great place to start.

It's been awhile since I flashed it and kinda remember how to do it but used iPrep last time. Jungleflasher will be much easier. I'm glad I don't have to uninstall the old stuff first. So, which firmware should I download then, should I try to find the old Xtreme f/w? Basically I just need to find whatever one doesn't do the stealth check and put that on there so I don't have to worry about any of the new waves. Unfortunately haven't been able to find the old stuff anywhere.
      Thanks!

And you wont find it, for now, either stick what you have on the drive and await on ixtreme update. Or update to 1.6 and use the 0800 1 shot boot to load other wave games, reflash when new ixtreme is released.

If your not bothered about live then u can patch the newer games to wave 2/3.

AS to flashing the drive check the jungleflasher guide, will tell you how to set up and update the drive.
