jungleflasher no hitachi 59 found!!

hi hope someone can help!!!
i've been using jungleflasher but it will not dedected the hitachi 59 drive so i've install hack drive 3249, now it dedects the pcmcia card but not the dvd59.
so i went skool and used slax2 cd and i'm in mode b now (after 20 times later) when powering the laptop up, at the loading bar just freeze and sometimes not but windows still hasn't regonize the hitachi drive... it did once the other day but jungleflasher froze on me (so i had to quit).. can someone help please as i've been at this for days
i'm using sony viao XP 32bit
J/F 1.62 b
.netfirmware 2.0
2 port pcmcia via sata VT6421a

where am i going wrong!!!!!!!!

sounds liek one your via drivers are still in the computer you need to install the port 32 and sound lk the drive has crashed due to the freeze try the drive with a normal game

i've install porto32 already but i'll try and put a game in and see what happens thanks

i've try with a game and it's working fine i'm thinkin of startin from scratch and see if it will make a differens if i use J/F 1.66b and xbins..
unless someone out there have any idea's that i could try!!!!

i'm having a few of the same problems on the hatchi on a rom 78. I have installed the portio drivers and disabled the VIA drivers on my laptop PCMIA card. but that doesn't work because when you cant disable the VIA drivers and delete the VSMRAID.sys on a PCMIA card the ports cant be accessed . . So I have installed a UNIata driver and its sees the drive ok. I have flashed a few Lit-ons with this method and it works ok.

I can put the Hatchie in Mode B ok which works fine, but then when you try to dump Drive it fails and gives you a message No Drive Selected.

Going through the Jungleflash instructions, I no that it wont give you a drive if the VIA drivers are disabled but they say it will still work. So does anyone Know where im going wrong. It sees the drive ok in the port properties.
