Just thought i'd let all you guys know your wrong to some aspects of your theorys, I have a flashed xbox360 with a samsung drive and i my xbox was flashed in January 2007, not 100% yet, but i think the firmware was about 1.4 and i have always been able to play every backup games including the wave 3 games, such as prototype and wanted, was not sure until just now if i could play wave 4 games, Just got Mod warfare 2 and it works perfectly, Try the game without the hardrive connected, if the game boots you know your firmware is okay, If not then re flash. You can't update your dash anymore with the wave 4 patched games. Due to the update.
