Help required on Xbox stuff

Hello,

I am looking at getting one for my son, but I will have to buy it second hand, and more than likely from an fleasbay...with money being tight and all that.

I dont know the first thing about consoles, so what should I look for...??

The little things I do know is that there are modded ones, and thay can play copied games I guess.. Now this is something we would want as the games are then downloadeable... Are there any problems with this..??

ALso, apparently some consoles are banned from Live (whatever that is) can they be unbanned... I think live is what my son wants to do.. That where you on tinterweb with others is it?

what is the difference between Elite, Premium and just Xbox 360 consoles...

hey mate no consles can't be unbanned once they banned yea modded ones are better but iff u don't get one they easy enough to mod look for a falcon or jasper chip set one due to the red ring of death problem they easy and cheap enough i bougth one the other week for ?44 hope this helps mate

yep easy way i look for the metal plug on end off the powersurrply ... if its metal its an old one. look for one with a plasic one!

in som cases look for the DMI Socket

my xbox is a old one and it plays all games and no probz with playing them to

if i was you get a older one say about 2006 model and i have never updated my flash

You wont get much cheaper than that.
