    xbox to xbox360

    Hi

Can anyone help trying to find out how to get a xbox backup .iso to play on a xbox360.

I know xbox backups were burned to a single layer disc, and that xbox360 games are burned to dual layer discs so how do i get xbox .iso onto the dual layer.

Do i need to create a .dvd file or something.

    Any help appreciated.

    Cheers

    um... no.

    Single layer dvd = 4.7gb
    Dual layer dvd = 9.4gb

Average size of an xbox title was under 4gb
The average size of a 360 title is above 4gb

This is the only reason. its nothing to do with authentication.

The only way an xbox title will play on a 360 is if it has the support of the xbox emulation software.
XIII works, as does burnout, halo 1 and 2 and a few others i have, ive got some powerfrome game however thats unsuported so its a no go.
AFAIK MS has dropped support for the emu so if youve got a title that wont work then chances are it never will.
