trying to flash no drive detected

I am trying to flash but no drive detected

i have installed PortIO32

i booted the xbox then booted the pc still nothing

can any one help me please thanks

Use the drop down menu and chose a different sata port.

Make sure your PCI card is showing up on the system.

Try powering the drive on and off and choosing the port again from the drop down section.

does it need to be on the sata port inside or shell i try the in the back

There is 3 ports on the card i find the one closest to the front of pc the best as this is the 1st assigned port on the card.


Just use the drop down section.

Does the card show when you use jungleflasher?

I think its a samsung your trying to flash? This would be done much easier using Iprep and your onboard sata.

i only wanna read my drive for now

i only have 2ports on my pci one at the side and 1 at the back does this matter

this is the card i have

vt-6421 on the chip it self it says via vt-6421a on the paper with it has no a on it
2 port sata + 1 port ultraATA-133

is that ok to doit with that

Plug the sata to your drive. Power the drive up. Start jungleflasher and your drive should show.

If not use the drop down menu and you will pick up the correct port.

Tick Via drivers only as well. This will get rid of ide ports.

I find the sata port at top of card is most reliable so connect to that.
Then power up xbox. Then pc.
Once all loaded open jungleflasher.
Goto the DVDKEY 32 tab, put a tick in via ports only.
Then over to the MTK Flash 32 tab.
Where it has the I/O Ports in top left corner of jungleflasher, you should find your drive there.

still nothing can any one show me on msn on remote i just want to see 1 time then i will be able to do it
