Or just register a new live account... and get his friends to all register new live accounts (free 1 month trial)... and then get this forum to register a free live account... and then all put ganja leaves on our cars and see wtf they do.

I can understand their prerogative to crack down on inappropriate images in their game, but if that story is true then that's taking it a bit too far, let's call it what it is it's a permanent ban for ganja leafs - it's especially overzealous considering the fact of what material it could have been.....Xbox Live seems to me like it's more trouble than it's worth when you consider the bans, the censorship and the fact you have to pay to play online on top of all this - surely there comes a time where one says enough is enough ?

your right mate 4 get microsoft at least you get your games kind of free

remember back in the day there was no on live till xbox come out

i bet no one played ps2 online did thay??

I played tony hawk online on the ps2 for a while, thought i was pretty good playing single player racking up scores and then i got online and saw just how wrong i was

I didn't. Mind you I don't really play games online anyway, personally I think the whole thing is overrated for what it is but then that's just my own personal opinion of online play in general. As for XBL it just seems so troublesome - you're having to pay for one thing, then you have bans and DOS attacks or whatever they're called to contend with and this is before the typical quitters, purposeful laggers and map glitch cheats. Nah, more trouble than it's worth for me.

But if you think it's worth paying for and putting up with year on year then all the power to you, but for me it just is not worth it. That's one of many reasons why the PS3 suits me perfectly - won't get banned and it's free to play online and it's there if ever I want to play online, which isn't very often but Fifa 10 gets a play online now and then. Sports games (esp footy) are an exception for me.

I am said friend ( DR J GREEN XBL GAMER TAG ) i waited 2 yrs for this game nd was really lookin forward to it, it was the first game i`ve ever pre orderd, and now i wish i never. TURN10 take the p**s. 20 years is a life time ban if u ask me? i wouldnt have been so hacked off if they gave me a life time ban, at least that would have been the truth of the matter. is the game forza 3 gonna be worth a wa*k in 20yrs ( i dont think so, "it aint worth a wa*k now turn 10" ) will there be a xbox 360 server in 20yrs??? or will we be on the xbox 2020 console or sumthink like that by then? the store front in the game was a new thing from forza 2 nd i thought that was a real good idea (little did i know

) freedom of expression, freedom through art, i never asked any 1 into my store front to view my items, nd i never forced my designs on any 1, and still there are sum self rightous pr*cks who must go round lookin for stuff to complain about, i sold a few cars in the auction house with said leafs on, i also sold some leaf decals from my soter front before i got banned so doesnt that just prove that there i like minded people who liked wot i`d done???? any ways just tryin to get the 1000 gs off the game then i`m thowing it in the bin.... thanx TURN 10

Just buy a PS3 it's free to play online and you won't get banned, plus Gran Turismo 5 is out in March and will sort yout Forza problems out good and proper!

Then either complain to M$, file for legal action or boycott them totally.....bitching about it isn't going to resolve things though it might make you feel better but clearly it doesn't. So do something about it. Ring Watchdog or something, demand your xbl subs back or to see out the year, they can't be allowed to get away with banning you and not giving you the terms of service you paid for and yet not give you any form of refund. That's ridiculous especially when you haven't really done anything wrong and you'd be stupid letting them get away with it without a fight considering the bollocks that people try to do Sony for. But let's be realistic, you're just going to write it off and go out and buy another 360 aren't you.....Which is playing directly into their hands.

DR J GREEN thers no way i`m goin out to buy a another xbox just to play forza 3 or sign up another xbl account. the more races i get my hirerd driver to do the less impressed i am with the game. just waitin for turn 10`s hired driver to get me the solid gold achievement then bye bye forza

Hes not been banned from Xbox Live, hes been banned from Take10 servers fr breach of their TOS and EULA, the same could have happened on any platform.
All any of this means is that he cant access the auction house or storefront of a single game that he broke the contract in.

It has nothing to do with Microsoft whatsoever, its an independant game with independant servers, EULA's and usage policies.
Legaly he hasnt paid for any additional service (the game still functions minus a few online components, he can still play via multiplayer though) a refund would be impossable.

Then why the big hoo ha ?! In that case it's probably been stated in the TOS that he probably didn't read so he hasn't really got room to complain other than it being harsh for what it was....
