Or go online and take the chance like i and many others are doing and have done for the past 3 years.
Some have not been banned some have.
Wozzo if you do speak to someone in the team ask them what the problem is with the non verb media then and report back to us.
P.S ask them for the version that works with verbatims. I'd be happy just to have that and only use verbs.

there is no proof about detection c4eva has said many times to keep opinions to yourself so as far as there being proof big nono and i still go online have doen since ban wave started and not been banned and i use lite-on 1.6

ALL FIRMWARE IS DETECTABLE, NONE OF THEM ARE OR EVER WILL BE SAFE!
If anything is ever genuinely safe then it would be offered with a guarantee, no firmware other than stock carries any such gaurantee.
Unless the group explicitly states "you know what we're so confident about our product we'll offer to replace your unit between now and next year if you get banned" then they're not entirely confident it can evade detection.
Instead firmware is proveded "as is" with an explicit warning that "users accept full responsability if and when they get banhammered."
Because its absoloutly impossable to make firmware different from stock to look mathmaticaly identical to stock firmware.
NONE OF IT IS SAFE NOR EVER WILL BE!
Then again neither is leaving your house, crossing the street or a million other every day things and people somehow manage to get by.
The point is if you want to play pirate games this is the only soloution, and its implicitly understood that its not entirely safe.He who laughs last thinks slowest.Comment

im not sure that many will want their new XBOXs flashed when the new firmware comes out, everyone's ive flashed with 1.61 bar 1 have been banned so the've hid there brand new one's from me, even the new 1 i got my son for christmas has a "dont touch dad" sticker on it, seriously though im not touching his new one, i'll still update the banned 1 though just to see the difference it makes, im starting to get withdrawll symtoms, so hope the new lt is out soon, although the homebrew project looks tasty

I thought I would take cgscott?s advice regards the Xbox live ban and go on line today and guess what?? Yep you?ve got it an instant ban.
Thought I would just post this to warn other people that the banning is still happening.
Anyone know whose selling the cheapest Xbox 360s?

I am fed up now with people ban/no ban.
I have my own theory about but aint sharing it.
If you flash your drive to 1.6 or before you can be banned.
As for still banning, you were prob flagged for ban as i aint been bannedsigpic
