Thinking of getting new box , will it be hackable though ? or which one not please , how can i tell before purchase thanks .
also is it possible to back up all saved games from previous HD?without extra box thanks

my brother just got a new elite and been told by a very good source on here that its near impossible to flash, apparently the elites that were manufactured after april 09 cause real problems to flash. the manufacture date of the box is printed at the back of the machine.

They can be done but not easily.
Just wait a couple of months and the LT firmware will be released with (apparently) an unlock for all the drives.
