can i upgrade firmware on xbox with usb stick

hi doesn anyone know if i can upgarde firmware on xbox with usb stick if so how??????? certain games wont work been told to update software....

Do you mean drive software or dashboard?

No way to update drive via usb. This has to be done by opening the box.

Dashboard however can be done via usb.

thanks for getting back to me i buy my games from a lad i know they normaly work fine brought fifa 10 and i wont load he said i need firmware updating he said i can download it and update it

When did you get the box done?

Fifa 10 is a wav 3 game.

You will prob need to get the drive updated. Whats your location? Maybe someone on here be able to point you in the right direction for flashing the drive.

Yes he means by flashing in dos. You will still have to extract the key from the drive using your computer. The box will have to be opened.
