    error code?

    i just tried to re-flash a Hitachi 46 drive which has been in my loft now for about 1 month. think i done it OK, but when i turn on the xbox i get E64 error?

    is this down to a bad flash? and can be fixed with a re-flash?, or, is the drive screwed?

      Then i found

      E64: DVD Drive Error - Dvd drive timed out during reset :Wrong firmware, dvd is without f/w chip, etc. This can also be caused by the tray not being fully closed on boot. also it could mean that the Kernel can't be launched/signature in NAND Flash chip is broken It could be possible after bad update. Scenyx Entertainment Community (Powered by Invision Power Board) This might also be caused by a bad SATA cable.
