HI, could somebody please tell me if i will get banned if i go on xbox live now with ixtreme firmware, i beleive that you can only get banned when there is a ban wave on....

It is your choice. No firmware is safe although i and a few other have been on and are not banned.

The ban wave seems to have passed for now. But anyone with a modded can be banned.

This is a risk you take.

im on ixtreme 161 lite- on and still not banned was on 2day

No we were not wrong. Your console was probably flagged during the ban wave and during the panic you unplugged. This would still be registered on the console and if you never plugged it in now but next January it was still going to get banned.

As i said this is the chance we all take.

My console was banned 3 weeks after the start of bans i then got another console and waited till then ban passed and have since been playing with a samsung 1.61 ixtreme.

Its a bad Idea you will get banned but if ou get banned for how long? Thanks

Only the console gets banned for good. Gamertag is fine.

There is no pattern to a ban. They know full stop. Doesnt matter what you use.

People need to face the fact that modding the console is illegal and microsoft will always know who's got what.

Its when they choose to ban. They only really ban near christmas. Thus boosting sales.

But due to mass numbers now modding banning from them could become more frequent.

They will always be one step ahead. Believe it.
