    lol, i need help to fix 1 red light e74. but now it is 2 lights

    does anyone know how to fix 2 red lights e74.


    1st it was 1 red light then i took it apart to start fixing. done 1 heat sink then went to 2 red lights then cuts out after 5sec.

    does anyone know how to fix it. if you do please help.

    Let it cool for 5-6 hours.

    Then try the overheating process again.

      this started last night mate. i was watching family guy then the screen started to go black and white at the bottom. so i turned it off then put it back on then 1 red light come up.

        oh i have only got metal washers not nylon and no thermal paste either. can i still do it or do i need the paste?

          You need thermal paste

          Also dont tighten the screws too much.

                      I meant what error code after the 1 red light.

                      He has 2 red lights now. So all is not as obvious.

                      No need to do a tut. Theres plenty on google. I would only be copy and pasting like a lot of people do to make good tutorials.

                          i have fixed 2 xbox in 2 days both same probz. i done it with the tut what i posted.but i heated it up without the fan for 15min then cool done for 30min all working good.

                            do the penny trick m8 no need for paste done loads not had 1 back fix em for 6p .....tape 3 pennys together utube it.
