Best Software for Banned Xbox

Eh Up Fellas, what software would you recomend for a banned xbox now there is no need for the stealth, something that will play all games ?

Do you want to JTAG the box? Run homebrew?

Or do you mean firmware for the drives. If do the use 1.61 on sam,benq and liteon. Use 1.51 on Hitachi.

Don't know what you mean cunny, i am running 1.61 firmware on my drives, but i saw a post some where that said they used a 5.2 firmware that played all games and all new games to come, now i have never heard of this and was wondering if you guys had, thats all....

This is the original fws released mate. Just called extreme 5.2, it has no stealth checks, it will play all games, without problems, as half the checks are not completed. You can get the fw from xboxscene.com

all xboxes with recent update from xbox live cannot be jtagged all the guides mention it must be pre updated version for jtag softmod to work..
basically the jtag method allows loads of apps to be installed on the xbox to play homebrew games and turn demos to full playable versions ect very nice if you have a pre updated xbox and by the diagram of hoe to make a jtag looks simple enough most parts easily available from maplins stores idd say hope this helps..

The best firmware to use on a banned xbox has to be 1.6 non stealth as it will never need updating again where as 1.61 firmwares stealthed only takes wave 6 games to slightly different and you will need to update again

1.60 non stealth was out the day before 1.61. someone patched the original 1.60 firmware to have the activate.iso built in the firmware.letting load anything

If you follow the link to the firmware pack i uploaded. You wilkl notice it contains the following :

Latest Ixtreme firmware for all drives. 1.61 benq/sammy (no Wave 5 Support) 1.61 Ixtreme firmware Liteon (wave 5 support)

It also contains the NON STEALTH so does not check PFI/SS so will boot ANY WAVE/COMBINATIONS of PFI/SS but as its made for BANNED consoles, it wont matter.
