erased my drive and got a error

H, ii erased my drive and got a error now i cant do anything with it. i have a lite-on drive i flashed it the first time with no prob. so when the new 1.61 came out i decided to reflash it so i didnt need the iso disc. anyway i got a error at the erase point the i couldnt get the drive to do anything. anyway is there a way to fix this or do i need to buy a new drive or a new xbox.
