Literally, but I'll just ask for some advice for the time being.

I have a virgin Benq-drived xbox that I want to play hookie games. I don't go on live much but it would be nice to maybe do that for a bit until i get banned and delay the ban as long as possible with latest firmware and checking games are stealthed and wave is right with abgx program (bluffing a bit here).

Am I right so far?

From what I have read over the past couple of days flashing the drive seems to be the way forward, and i see that new LT firmware is due shortly so I'll wait for that and then flash the Benq with that using Jungleflasher.

I also bought a VIA 6421 card but looking at some threads think I maybe didn't have to do that?

BTW my dashboard v is 2.0.7371.0 which i think maybe old enough to JTAG so I haven't let it update but JTAG sounds more tricky anyway with no benefit to me. I'm only concerned with games as i have a HTPC already.

Also, when i have it up and running, say, a backup of ME2, can you still dl extra content and stuff like that? Or can you get backups of that sort of content too?

Anything else I should know?

hi mate

you can modify your console without any problems at all... however the firmwares have been detected by MS and peeps have been thrown off the server when playing LIVE

as far as I know is that WAV 4 games will not work offline from what i understand anyway.

to modify the console you can either do it yourself using Jungle flasher ... How ever you need to know which drive you have in your xbox.

secondly depending on your drive you will need to know how to solder... however that problem has been eliminated and you can now get the spear to extract keys from the drive.

to be honest with you its costly doing it yourself and if you dont know what you doing you more likely to brick the drive.

I got mine done from them.

there is a new firmware on the way from what I know and that it will let u play on LIVE


Abgx is a software which verifys if the stealth patch has been correct and also checks for other errors as well.

I suggest you read everything before u attempt to go ahead and flash that drive

start Googling mate... I had tutorials however I lost em otherwise i would have posted em over.

finally: Jap and ntsc games will not work with a 360

the games have to be either Region free or PAL
