hi all lad just bought a x-box elite 2nd hand all set up and working but when he went to set up live bit it wont let him says its banned anyone no anything we can do to sort it out thanks in advance

be wary of second hand xbox360's always confirm with the seller that it is not banned. microsoft will not be interested in helping you so good luck with the refund from the original seller.

if you bought using paypal or ebay, you should be protected

have had a responce he says it said in descript that it had no xbox live we thought that meant it didnt have wi-fi conection think he abit of a shithouse meself but go keep trying to get money back bought with credit card will see if they can sort it for me

If from eBay/anyone they Should say banned from live in description lodge a complaint with eBay/paypal/credit card company.... What is the date on back of xbox?

was bought of amazon had no reply 2 2nd email it didnt say in desription it was banned which i think it should of cant see any date on the xbox

if the guy said in the description that it was banned from live then i dont think you have a case remember the price of the xbox360 probably reflected that. you could try amazon customer services and tell them you thought that by getting your console from a reputable company like them that perhaps it should have been able to connect to xbox live service.
