xbox 360 & belkin

After a lot of headaches and hair pulling I thought i'd share some information about the piece of junk that is belkin.

I had trouble accessing xbox live and followed the tutorials including virtual servers and port mapping, even fixing a static ip address on my xbox.

That was just a disaster and ended up putting a netgear in front of it all.

upnp seems to be the only option to get this working but there are good days and bad days.

Alot of peops seem to be having problems with Belkin. I know of two stuggling with Belkin and 360 connections. I even tried to set one up myself once with a wireless laptop.... bag of sh1te

ill agree a cheap belkin womt work wi the 360 my belkins a n+ i ve set up a static ip and opened the ports and never had a day s problem and i ve got a faster connecton on gears etc you get what you pay for1but opening ports (wat you should do anyway ) is always the way to go
