    help with an explanation please

hi guys first of all this is my first post (so be gentle ) but have read lots of stuff in the forum

i dont need help flashing my drive as such as ive read loads of tuts about how to do it and will be having my first try over the weekend hopefully. The main reason im here is because ive downloaded the latest firmware and inside there is a read me file and as im new to flashing the 360 i havent got a clue what any of it means and would be thankful for an explanation if possible

the read me is as follows

    Features
    --------
-Strict Wave 4 compliance! hybrid (modified disks) will not boot!
-Strict Wave 3 compliance! hybrid (modified disks) will not boot!
-Strict drive speed compliance - 12x only for game discs!
    -Support for SS V2!
-Integrated 0800 for game dumping including SS v2!
-Full support for all known game exceptions! eg ddr etc!
-One shot boot mode! - allows a one off boot of gamedisc without -stealth/partition checks (will still use stealth), use activate.iso disk to activate each time!
-Support for easy drive key/version info cmd, same as liteon!
-Strict stealth/wave checking, one shot boot mode will boot wave(x)!

i have to admit i have no intention of playing on live so do i need to worry about any of this or does it affect what games i burn etc

Strict wave compliance is basically that you cannot load a wave 4 game with wave 3 video patched over or vice versa.
SSv2 comes from 0800 (1.6) firmware for game ripping from an xbox drive.
1 shot boot disc means that it will bypass stealth checks and will boot and wave game.
