quick question about 360 ixteme firmware

Hi folks, flashed quite a few 360's in my time but havn't touched any since the new ban wave about 4/5 months ago, my nephew is now wanting his flashed, he got it at christmas there so im assuming it will be the latest lite-on drive, "correct me if im wrong" thing is he doesn't go on live and doesn't look to be in the near future, so what im wanting to know is what would be the best firmware to stick on it, never flashed the new LT yet, is it just the same procedure or are there pitfalls i may encounter, any help on this would be much appreciated, cheers

Its all the same, online play is back as long as you want to take risks and instal the LT firmware. Before you do, leave it to stock, instal all updates then flash the drive. You may get luck and it will be a 8 series v1 so no soldering req. IT is recommended that all future colnsole updates are done with stock firmware on your drive.

Ok, thanks again cunny, just 1 more thing, r u saying that once flashed with LT, i would need to return to stock each time for console updates

thats down to your preface and your choice but i will say its not essential as LT is supposed to be stealth
BUT i will say they identified all previous fw in time i don't believe the LT will be any different you must be willing to take the chance of playing any flashed drives online nothing is ever going to be 100% safe
