Corrupted Gamer Profile

Hi Guys,

Need some help please. My previous xbox was banned as a part of the last ban wave (dec?) and I have finally gone out and got a new one. I had been using my last xbox quite a bit since it was banned and built up my gamerscore by a couple of thousand since it was last synced with xbox live. I have put my old hard drive in the new xbox and it is recognizing some of the profiles on their but not all of them. The only one I care about along with some others are showing "corrupted profile" on the settings menu under memory. The obvious option would be to recover the gamertag from xbox live but that would lose a big part of my gamerscore which I really want to avoid. Any advice on how to fix a "corrupted profile" would be much appreciated.

There is no fix for this should you wish to remain on live. The only option would be to use the hard drive on the live console and recover your gamertag then build up what you lost out on.

Everytime you place the hard drive on your banned console and play a game on your profile and add gamerscore it will always show as corrupt when you go on your live console.

This feature was implemented along with the ban so people would have to use 2 consoles 2 hard drives.

Thanks for your response. That was what i feared most. Looking into some possible fixes on youtube. I will let you know if I have any success.

For anyone who is interested, I have managed to uncorrupt my gamer profile and related saves so they can be used on a new non-banned xbox. So for all those who thought they may have to redo all those acheivements again, or restore your gamertag to when it was last on live no need to worry. With a bit of practice and a SATA or hd connectivity kit it can be done in 20 mins. If anyone needs to know how to do it let me know and I may put together a guide. A lot of the ones I found through google overcomplicated the issue, or just plain didn't work

How to Uncorrupt Profile from a Banned Xbox 360

Rehash and Resighn your profile and put it back in your hdd or delete your profile and recover it.
