banned xbox360 updating games

I just realy have some problem , first i have here a banned 360.
my xbox360 has 1.6 firmware . and the latest dashboard this one
$SystemUpdate_Fall09_8955.) So i downloaded Dante's Inferno .
i checked the game in abgx it said wave4 and that means i cant play with my 1.6 firmware so i patched in to wave3 . i burned the game . but when i tried it asked me to updated the game . but it doesnt update it it reboots and nathink hapens . so i dont knw what to do please help me .

Kindly ask someone who has a live console to stick theyre hard drive on your console and accept the latest update.

That way all you games will play on your console.

Every so often 'game update' packs appear on Usenet (Newsgroups) and most P2P sites, if you have a hard drive adapter you can install these onto the drive and the games are already updated.

realy i dont have a friend i dont think so , but i just downloaded these updated from newsgroup . but how do i send it in to the xbox . could you help me out please

Simple answer is a game originally wave 4 Dante's Inferno will not work if it is patched to wave 3 on 1.61 because of its stleath checks on boot up, it will not boot patched games other than than wave it originally comes with.

You have to bun a Activation disk or boot disk and incert it into the drive before you play an unmodified copy of your game.

Just leave your copy of Dante's Inferno at wave 4 and use the boot disk to boot it.

patching your ISO to wave 3, will make it functional on all Firmware except for the following

ixtream 1.4
ixtream 1.5
ixtream 1.6+
