Cleaning up 360 motherboard

Hi all, I left an old broken xbox 360 core in my porch for a few months, now I've found out a fix even if xclamp fix failed and would like to restore it, the problem is that the board is very dusty and slightly rusted, how would i clean the motherboard to give this machine another chance ? Bare in mind I'm not very experienced at all. Thanks in advance - James

I would recommend using surgical spirit which can be purchased a chemist or tesco or similar.

Close GMB, its Isopropyl Alcohol (Isopropanol), its essentialy a degreaser.

I use it with a soft toothbrush for large stuborn areas and with cotton buds for detail work.

It also has a low evaporation point so things dont get too wet

Ps. TRIVIA: drinking it will kill your optic nerves and make you go blind, if ingested then down as much everclear or anythng with a high ethanol content like overproof rum, vodka, whisky etc to dilute it in your blood stream to stop the blindness.

Its one of the only things where if you walk into hospital with it they will get you pissed

mine got a 2nd . to get rid of the dust use a paint brush.
