New 1.1 LT out Detection Flaw found

Rumor : TeamJungle LT firmware was hacked by M$.
C4eva & TeamJungle have quickly released an update "not looking good for LT users" but I would say plenty of users have been flagged if this firmware has been compromised (No Smoke without Fire)

This new version of iXtreme Lite Touch Firmware for Benq & LiteOn bring?s media compatibility updates and, iXtreme LT 1.0 apparently also has a detectable flaw, MS currently aren?t checking for. C4Eva & TeamJungle discovered the bug before MS, and Patched it. You are advised to update now, before they do start checking.

If this is the case M$ have all ready flagged hundreds of thousands of LT users, I would not believe anything these guys have to say. LT is not safe at all

If you need a boot disk / Activation disk on wave 4, 5, 6 then you most likely have 1.61, if you can boot a wave 4,5 or 6 without a boot disk or Activation disk then you have LT.

Confirmed as flawed but liteon LT update is NOT a security flaw (so they say) its a media issue. Benq LT is a security issue

I think thats the attitude everyone should adopt. You can get a new xbox for under ?100 (2.5 games) I have recently bought and flashed a new box to replace my banned one, and if this one gets benned I will do the same again. I have already got more than 2.5 games out of this one

this is not off topic, can a lite-on drive be swaped for a samsung drive?

if yes then everyone should do it. my samsung drive has been online for 2 years and not banned.

we will see when the next ms flash crack down comes if my samsung is still running. it should be good till the drive dies from playing games.

If Ixtream have ****ed up yet agan M$ have already found it out, for C4eva to state that M$ have not found or are looking for security flaws, then they are naive, M$ do not hire retartded Monkeys to run there Anti-piracy department these guy are on to of there game and are some of the top programmers for around the world.

I actually agree alun. Hence thats why i put 'so they say' in my post. I also still say that those who mod/pay for xbox's to be modded know the risks if go online and get banned, then who is to blame? Thats the be all and end all of it.

I must admit am getting bored fast of the xbox scene. I am happy with the set up i have now. Benq LT v1, reflash tomo to 1.1 but could be tempted to put unstealthed 1.6 on it.

The stock firmware comes with the firmware packs you download for jungleflasher via xbins or whereever.

A new dash update is supposdly due this month, which if true is a matter of days. USB Mass storage devices will be the main feature enhancement.

I will be looking to return mine to stock for the update an then flashing it to LT 1.1.

As someone else did the original flashing for me and showed me what to do (but I'll no doubt have forgotton when it comes to it) I'll no doubt be posting n00b type questions myself, but hope to research enough first!
