This is the way companies are moving with this. So expect it in a lot more games too. Hated the first one, so not that bothered about playing the second either.

ive not got a ps3 but is there the same sort of thing happenin on that system too or is it just for the 360 owners

Yes this is something they are doing with all games on both consoles.

Soon every game developer will follow suit.

so we will be paying for, broadband, MS gold subscription, and now the game manufacture wants in as well?!! as if we don't pay enough out already?

At 30p for a DL disk. I say ?3 quid to unlock online options aint bad.

So ?3.30 for Tiger Woods 11.

Then for those who buy preowned maybe pick up 2nd hand game for ?15 less than retail price 2 weeks after release paying the ?3 to go online. So saving ?12 on RRP.

This is got to be a way forward for Game developers to Recoup at least something back on what they lose from the pirates.

hey mate, do you think the iso can be modded to enable it?

Cant see it being a hack that would be of any use. If you did hack it then as soon as you went online it would for sure be an instant ban.

Bit like modding the hard drive and using homebrew.
