The only way to do it is by removing the chip on the pcb. No other easy way. Hitachis are fragile drives.

Yes as above. The same thing happened to me and the only was is lift the chip and get the key and spoof another drive with it.

      THE TRUTH
      The Hillsborough Independent Panel. 12/09/12

Today's report is black and white. The Liverpool fans were not the cause of the disaster.
The panel has quite simply found 'no evidence' in support of allegations of 'exceptional levels of drunkenness, ticketlessness or violence among Liverpool fans' and 'no evidence that fans had conspired to arrive late at the stadium' and 'no evidence that they stole from the dead and dying'.

Just get another drive and spoof it. Easiest option.

Get a benq or samsung drive, easiest to flash, If you wait for samsung LT it could have x spoof for hitachi drives, not confirmed but you can spoof liteons with benqs, just a thought

If anyone else has bricked hitachi drives, and dont have thier key, i know someone who does this, i found him when another member bricked his drive without the key.

Benq the best drive to go with. Quiet and easy to flash.

Just to let you all know if you have read your drive got the key but failed in the writing side of things and have then go one to delete the jungle flasher program dont worry you can still get the key back even with out the jungle flasher program.
