    360 flashers list.

how about making a list of tried and tested xbox 360 flashers that you have used so we can have a small directory that everyone can use.

When i made the guides above, there was not much of this on this forums, so i made them for people to learn how to do it themselves.

If people dont feel comfy enough doing it themselves then they should find someone local to them, maybe car boots, computer fayres ect. That way any issues can be resolved by the people involved, and leaves the risk of spilling into the forums.

but its pretty hard finding someone local/anyone at all that will do them, cant see the problem with folks putting up who to contact if they want their xbox doing for them.

just thought it would be of help to people who dont want to/trust sending their boxes off and would like to take it themselves to a local dealer.

You send anything thro the post and it would be at your own risk. Dont mean to sound negative, but just my thoughts on the subject. But have also taken drives in post for flashing ect.

I agree with you. I have had at least 10 people from this site in my local area come to my place and have theyre consoles flashed or repaired.

So i think it would be a good thing maybe just to mention which area you live (if you dont mind this being viewed) and what services you can provide.

There is RULES stating no trading on forum so no mention of prices etc only what you can do and maybe people can PM for more details. (this is the Xbox section so only xbox material).

The minute you start putting prices etc will only end up in removal of your thread and a good verbal warning from the staff here or maybe even a ban.

Ok then, see there is support here for this, then maybe a sub section where people can offer services, without pricing ect to stay inside forum rules.

This way people can either request the service they need/want doing and people who offer the service can offer it.

If you do it by 1 thread then the newer posts would be viewed first.

Depends on how the search function is used.

And if some one PM's me and i offer at X?'s and Joe down the road gets a PM and he offers at Less X?'s then it wont bother me.
The person can decide who they want at the end of the day.

This means it doesnt end up a trading place and people trying to battle each other for business. Which is clearly what we dont want.

It just a simple thread to let people know who's closeby to do what for them. And let the person decide where they want to go.

                      Agreed, this would be nice.

I can offer xbox flashing services in Leicester for anyone that wants, but I always suggest xboxflashing.com for people local to the Leicester / Leicestershire area who need their drives flashed, as there are those who want a reliable trusted alternative to bringing me (forum poster) their drive, and I have no problem with that.

Both I and that website offer "drop in" flashing and such, so you can be confident in what youre getting.

I would suggest that people do not post their xboxs or drives in to people that they do not know or do not have a lot of reputation stating that they are fully legit in the services they are offering.

Though, if they are presented with the opportunity to drop the drive by hand - I can hardly see how there is an issue as there is little risk involved, and if anything goes wrong.. you know where you can find em! :P

I agree this could be a great idea if not abused.I posted a request for this service in Nottingham and didn't manage to get a reflash yet.I know many people who do it but miles away so if any one fom Nott'm is viewing and near Gedling I would welcome a chat to sort it out.
