Wireless N Adapters

There are new wireless N adapters for xbox 360. I was told that you cannot get the old wireless G ones. Is this true, and why? This makes all wireless g routers obsolete for xbox gamers...

The G adapter is still avaliable but with the advance in wireless they introduced the N adapter. Quicker etc.

You can still purchase the G adapters though.

No it doesnt.

The same as G routers didnt make B and A routers obsolete, N spec equipment (IEEE 802.11n) must support N/G/B and A frequencies.

N just supports greater range and higher bandwidth than G it still operates with G spec gear though.
