unflashed xbox with second flashed drive ?

I have a 360 that is unflashed that gets used for xboxlive only. my question is if i flash a second drive with ixtreme then extend the sata and power leads to out side the 360 so i can connect to the second drive when i want to play copied games will this still result in getting an xbox live ban or will i be safe as M$ will never see the flashed drive online ?

play originals games when original unflashed drive is connected in 360 (online)

play copied games when second flashed drive is connected testing games before i buy them if i like the game.

only one dvd drive will be connected to the 360 at any give time

i want to do this as my flashed console has give up the ghost and i already have a spare drive (diff type but can spoof) hitachi to samsung

No-one is sure how MS detect drives. Some reckon that even by removing the drives and powering the console on logs error codes as such and stores that info. So the next time you go online this info (could) in theory be detected by MS is need be.

Its a risk you take.

what you need is an xecuter X drive. From what i gather this bit of kit will keep you safe online by switching from your flashed drive to play backups and your stock drive to play normal and on live its kind of similar to what you suggest there but there set up is allot different to what you suggest.

I was going to mention that MOD but as stated no-one knows what MS can pick up on and cant.
At the end of the day come Oct/Nov this year we will see another mass ban so that everyone goes and buys the new console.
After all thats all they want from us is ? and $.

I wont be buying the new one . I have a few tucked under the floorboards that i can get back online with.
