help?

i have a flashed xbox 360 that does not play the newer wave games (4,5,6) so i decided to patch the games to wave 3.

now my problem i need help with is that the games will only boot without my harddrive. When i have my harddrive on it says i need to update to play the game, i hit yes to update then the system restarts and then asks the same thing again.

is there any way to fix this cause i really want to use my harddrive so i can save my games? thanks

Download latest dash from ms, instal it, that should cure it. Or update the firmware to the latest version, save patching the wave ect

thanks cunny. do i have to burn the update with a dvd dl r or can it be a regular dvd? also when i install do i need my harddrive on.

you can put the update on a usb memory stick.
