Safe to flash benq as 93450?

    Hi,
My friends 9series drive has conked out due to him using crappy discs, then he went and dropped it and broke it ().

I have a spare benq drive i offered to give him for free but was wondering how safe this would be online spoofed as a 93450.

I know its detectable but is it a near-instant ban or would he get a good while out of it? (i.e. untill next ban wave)

    Thanks

Should be, if you read the nfo for the benq LT it states it supports spoofing as liteon drives. Unsure if it will be detectable or not on live. Thats a risk everyone takes when taking flashed boxes online

if its the laser thats gone and the drop didnt hurt anything else,
just swap the laser from the benq to the lite-on they use the same laser.
