    What colours are on your power brick when you plug it in?

    Are you getting any lights on the console at all, red flashing lights or the normal green light in the middle?

    As much info as possible please!!!

        OK so the power brick works on a different console so its not that, but there are no lights atall when turned on......well my guess would be either your rf module needs replacing or something has happened to the power input on the board itself.

        Has this console been opened or repaired before in anyway?

          sorry also aswell make sure that the power brick is the right kind and it actually fits all the way into the socket, some older power supplies are different for different xboxs so just double check that it goes all the way in.

              Sounds like the power unit inside the console mate. Friend of mine had to replace one the other day, but had to drill it off to get the old one off. Not sure if he even fixed it tbh.

                  power unit?????
                  are u meaning the power connector?

                  @b17bham

                  check all the connectors
                  make sure none are broke/are shorting
                  ie the usb connectors are prone for shorting
                  if they look ok then its probably a mossfet transister thats blown on the main board or as stated the rf board.
                  relace the rf board first with a known working 1
                  (the rf board is the 1 that has the led's and power button on it, if u didnt know)
