Any decent sites be it Newsgroup or Torrent to DL old classics?

I've got a 360 pre-flashed arriving on Friday and wouldnt mind playing gears of war, 1 and 2..... It will be a refreshing change to my wii and PS3 games i've been playing over the years.

if you have virgin media you can use newsgroups for free. but you can only download 20 day old uploads. anything over 20days you will need to pay for.

newsgroups is full download speed on brand new files.

newsgroups gets 99% of the files 1st. p2p servers only rarely upload 1st

torrents are shared files and can take up to 5days if the seeds are low for a game.

torrent is good for old stuff but not games unless seeds are high.

If you use a newgroup premium server with 600 day retention you can pretty much grab anything you want. But if you use free newgroups your only gonna grab as its released.

Public torrents are shit mate, TPB and co are just not worth downloading off. Private trackers are the nuts mate, I max out my connection on torrent leech no problems, I cannot say the same on newsgroups.

And newsgroups dont get stuff first either. Its uploaded to FTPs then private trackers then newsgroups, and the rest afterwards.

LOL... Suppose I could tke out a months trial to a 'premium' newsgroup and DL that plus a few more old ones that are over 20-days old etc!
