How to transfer the save game files/downloaded content from my old xbox to my new one! the data transfer kit is not going to work as it is different connections?!?

its up to 16gb, i got transfer cable but no cd to put in xbox
i tried gettin files onto pc and taking them off onto usb but the xbox dont see em! im all confused!

just use your transfer cable, Plug your old hdd into the transfer cable then plug the other end into the usb port. Then go to settings in your dashboard and click on memory.
Then click on the old hdd, it will show you everything that you have saved. Then on transfer and pick the destination which will be your new hdd then click on start, then it will transfer all your files.
Or you could use a usb memory stick no less than 1gb its the same procedure as the transfer cable......

If so then the only way will be to use a usb memory stick and transfer them like that.....Comment

you will have to transfer the license from your old xbox to your new one to be able to play your downloaded content offline
transfer ur profiles game saves and downloaded games and content using a flash drive then on ya pc go to xbox.com/drm to transfer your licenses from ur your old xbox to your new oneComment
