Whats your view on the new Xbox?

I got mine yesterday its def quieter and much nicer lookin then my old white one! the size is nice. what do others think?

I agree they look a lot nicer, and if they are quieter that is a bonus. Personally I wont bother changing any of my 3 xboxs unless they break and I need to. Even then I would only do it if they can be flashed. You may be able to do them already for all I know, I haven't really been keeping up with such things recently. If for whatever reason they can't I would replace mine with old ones. Even second hand ones if necessary.

Got mine yesterday too.

MUCH quieter, so that's a good start for me.

Has N wireless, so I can use it upstairs (online) if i want.

Produces a tonne of heat, so seems to be really efficient at keeping the unit cool.

DVD drive is quieter also, not a lot of difference in running games from disk or hard drive.

All I need is the ability to run games directly from the HDD without inserting the original ... (dream on) and it would be perfect ;-)

PS :-

Touch sensitive buttons for power and eject - fancy for the sake of it.

Wireless headset - horrible, prefer the one with the control for volume and mic on the bit that you plug into the controller. On this one it's half way up the headset lead.

Power supply is much smaller, but different again to both previous models of PSU
