cant find GOW1 & 2 :(

I need to download GOW1 and 2, as my backups will no longer read
I have tried everywhere but can?t find them. Every time I try to download them links are dead on RS.

That'll be because RS take copyrighted stuff down pretty quick these days. Have you tried newsgroups or torrents? I personally had GOW1 off newsgroups 4 days ago, so know its there.

yeh I know what you mean, but I never understood news groups. If you can point me in the right direction that would be a big help mate.

There are numerous tutorials on newsgroups mate. You will need a client first like newsleecher or something. And also quickpar to check the files.

Then you can use search engines to find the files you require. I personally use NZBIndex - We index, you search

For beginners use GrabIt. (Client to download files, it has a par repair and extract tool inbuilt)

Youll need server access - something like astraweb or giganews are the favourites, these cost per month, but its a really good investment if you download a lot

And an indexing site (index of files) - I personally like nzbmatrix and use nzbclub if I cant find it on there - never disappointed.

Google all the names, should be the first link for each!

Thanks guys I looked into it yesterday and WOW sod that for a laugh I used to just download my stuff from rapidshare but this news things seems a bit much. Looks like ill just have to buy them from some dodgy peeps on here forums like these again not naming names
But thanks any way I might come back to this one day when I have a spear 5-7 hours

yeah you can get gears of war 1 and 2 for about ?7 each brand new on ebay, just use google product search or money supermarket and you'll find them dirt cheap.
