I believe that you cannot anymore, you used to be able to get other region stuff by signing up for accounts using fake addresses, like Apples address in the US. But they caught onto it and stopped it.

Yes you can, as long as you have the codec installed to the HDD, or you can stream it over extender, but again you need the codec.

you can set up a US account. my original account was American due to the way it checks email.

ive got a gmail.com account and apparently because its not googlemail.com live assumed i was stateside.

The problem came up when i tried to add funds to actualy pay for msp and live, my credit details where UK and therefore it said NO!

Yeah they closed the loophole, you used to be able to have accounts for all regions including Japan and such. I tried to use my details when in Japan to get UK stuff for my friend, but it wouldnt let us. Bad times.

Dint they close that loophole when the resident evil 5 demo hit japan and all other regions were downloading it, ie states and europe

I dont know when it was closed cunny, might of been then, but I know it was closed.

the other day i paid for a us account for 10.99 with 4000ms points.

i have used the points for stuff, but it would never let me download waw maps.

ps i have got the new cod maps for mw2 with that gamertag, but, not cod waw maps. it says not for my region.
