About 10 miuntes, if its just the drive about 2-3 minutes. Unless i need to perform the MRA method, then its about 10 minutes or less.

well i will show you a link that shows a fully automated flash of a liteon 8 series v1 no mra you just have to click the mouse twice and the open and close of the tray is also fully automated.

          Total time to flash 28seconds.

This is only possible with some great team xecuter kit have a look.

Yeah I've seen that before, I dont think its worth the money.

I flash about 20-40 drives a week and I would have no benefit from that unfortunately

Also, I always perform the MRA method on all LiteOns as it is strongly advised.

why would you do the mra hack on a pcb when it is not needed?

7 series probe and 8 series just hook it up to JF dont know why you would want to make more work for your self especially since there is a key verification now on jf so you cant really go wrong.

It is recommended to dump laser calibration data to copy to the hacked firmware, it could possibly be needed in future. A full dump of your original fw is available so why not do it. It would be needed to fully return to stock.

Additionally, some people have issues with needing pot calibrations after only a couple months when laser calibration data is not carried across.
