little help please

have had a dig around and have heard that you can get your xbox to play games straight from an external hard drive.now is this true and what do i need other than my xbox and external hd?
any help will be greatfully recieved.

as far as i know you can store a game on the hard drive on the xbox but you need the disk in to play it.ive neva heard of being able to run them without the disk

i think jtag can run anything, it lets you install the game and play without the disk.

plus free arcade games from xbox live and mod games so your the highest rank.

not sure about external hard drives tho.

JTAG xboxs are what you are after.

It allows you to run homebrew software on your console.

You can use an external HDD - as well as a massive range of other cool stuff
