yeah but i was just wondering coz i have an xbox that isnt banned but wont connect to xbox live:S so was gonna try it

Na andy. Dont stick it in. The new dash is supposed to detect firmware immediately. Dont even update dash through live until we see what happens ban wise.

Mine is and i have abit of a scare with it. when i updated my laser decide to go at the very moment i updated!

put a copy of Halo:reach in and wouldn't load, tried all my games and nothing! i though "HOLY SHIT"

me being me though ok this cant be rite how can M/S kill a modded DVDrom via dash update!!??? can't be done so i did a quick pot tweak, got a game to load! so just stuck a new laser in and it worked!
