how do i get a flashed samsung ms28 in to vendor mode?

hello

my old xbox samsung ms28 drive will not go into vendor mode. i have a xbox 360 what has a ms25 drive but, i want to swap it for my old ms28 drive.

is there away to get it into vendor mode? i have took out the board from the 25 and put it in the 28 drive and flashed it but, games are coming up unreadable.

so i put the board back in the 28 drive and tried to to flash it. no luck tho. any help please

Did you open tray, turn ck off then shut tray half way then turn ck back on?

I'm using the xbox for power.

Power up xbox.
Open tray
Disconnect power from drive (the white plug)
Push tray half way in
Send device intro
Replace power

i read the tut. i uninstalled the sata drivers and now its not reading my drive at all. what has happend? i have installed them back too but its still not reading the drive.
