    AP25 & Samsung Drives

    Hi, i have flashed my lite on drive with the new LT+ and it works as Cunny puts it "It does what it says on the can" have a cpouple of new AP25 backups everything fine, however my other console has a Tosh Samsung drrive in it, and they apparantley are unable to detect the AP25 Sector on discs, so am i right in thinking that they dont need flashing ?, the reason i ask is that now that the dash has been updated by the AP25 game my profiles cannot be read from the hard drive and when i create a new profile the game says cannot find any xbox profiles...

      A sammy should work fine, but they are a little hit and miss.

          I have a samsung drive flashed with 1.61. What i want to know is can i play ap25 games without updating the firmware? As i cannot update as only have a laptop(Just waiting for usb360).
          Also i do not play on live with this console....

              Try one, as Janobi said they are a little hit and miss, some repoorts suggest that they have been modified by ms to do the check.

              If the drive in the xbox was originally a sammy then i think you should be ok. If its been spoofed to a drive that is capable of running the check then it wont work. Best bet wait till the x360 is out, or just get someone to update it for you but there is no AP 2.5 fw out for sammy atm

                  Personally I would flash it to LT, and see if the problems still exist.
