ok I have a liteon 7 series drive with LT on it which was given to me by a friend.
Now I have not got the original FW so the only way to upgrade to LT+ is by doing a mra on it.
Now my solder skills are crap so i used a xecuter lt clip.
So I installed the clip per the pdf and flashed it like it was a 9 series but saved all the fw of course.
After flash was complete I dismantled the drive a took of the clip and i used a conductive pen to repair the cuts and dried of with a heat gun and put back together and works fine.
Bit of a hard and long winded way of upgrading to LT+ but it worked for me with the tools I had.
