hitachi 79 drive wont play lt+ games

i have a hitachi 79 drive with 1.5.1 iextreme on it and it wont play the new games that have the 2.5 callback on them ie need for speed hot persuit. i have tryed the 1 shot boot disc and even tryed a hot swap without any joy.
i would be most greatfull if anyone can help me or if anyone knows if new firmware will be available for the 79 drive anytime soon... thanx

ok so i have found the solution, there is a new system update from microsoft and once installed the new 2.5 games work, here's a link to the update Update your console software

That drive supports ap2.5, so your best going on 1.51 with the newest dash, and the games should boot fine. You will need the kinectimals dash board though.
