My Stepson has got himself a Turtle beach Headset...And with the Tv in his room having no "audio out" i need to pick up the audio from the SD lead that goes between the Console and the TV. Because he also wants the HDMI to be used, i cannot use both sockets on the rear of the console at the same time because the plugs are too big to be next to each other...can anyne tell me if the original X box HDMI is made small enough to allow such a connection ??

No headphones out or audio out on tv? I dont understand what your asking? you want audio through av lead and tv thorugh hdmi lead? Why do you need his audio from the AV lead?

Right...Point taken. There is no way we can get a audio pick up for these Turtle Beach headphones. As there is No Audio out or headphone socket on his Tv, i have to get the audio pick up from somewhere, so the console is the only solution...I have been looking on gamestation and there does appear to be a lead that will allow the use of HDMI and audio from the console at the same time...it seems that this is the solution.
