I have XBOX 360 4GB MODEL, i bought a wd 250gb hdd , i opened the side panel expecting to find the hard drive case but it was empty. So i pushed the new hdd into connection inside the xbox, secured it on both sides to stop it moving about. Connected it back to the mains, but the xbox isn't registering the new hdd. Can any of you tell me what to do. An idiots guide would be helpful. Thanks in advance for replies.

Clear the cache, all it does it get rid of all your games updates. It doesn't affect the save games or anything.
This gives you the oppertunity to update games that you WANT. Maybe it was a faulty update or something.Comment
