    Kinect , word of warnin..

be careful, If you buy the Kinect along with a package (ie xbox and kinect) it will only connect to that type of xbox. If you have the older xboxes it will not come with an adaptor to play it on the older models...If bought seperately, it will.. I bought the new black slimline model with the Kinect package and it joins to that, but the kinect will not join to the older models... If the Kinect is bought seperatley, it comes with an adaptor so it can connect to either.. Just bear this in mind if your about to spend your cash,.... PS.. the Kinect is great... who woulda guessed it, im a great dancer!!!!

LOL, u referring to Dance Central bro??

anyway just fyi, if you wanna buy the sensor separately then the sensor will only be compatible with 'kinect-ready' consoles, for now only the slim ones are kinect-ready

whatever it is, i have no regrets buying the sensor...i'm loving my kinect!!!

Suppose if you already have a box and want another then this info is useful especially if you have kids

I got 2 in the house, both old ones so only needed to buy the kinect on its own

im exactly the same, i have two xboxes, but can only use the kinect on one of them.....

i do know the kinect works on all xboxes, but it needs an adaptor, that isnt given if it is bought in a package. ie xbox and kinect together....

I went to Toys R' Us this Christmas to get my kids presents/gifts... I was looking for the Kinect sensor everywhere at the initial price of $145 ... Turns out that the sensor by itself was sold out at least in Southern California, "BUT" Microsoft came out with an option to buy the sensor + 2 games in a package for just $245,- Here is the crazy thing that for just $45 more dollars I have the combo (Xbox console slim + Kinect + Games) So total price for the set was $290.- It was in my plans to keep the old 360 ELITE + Kinect for my kids and the new one for myself to watch Netflix online and play shooting games, but I just discovered that the "USB plug adaptor" is sold separately. I think it's still a good deal, for just $50.- bucks I have now a brand new Xbox 360 Slim.
