Updated and now black ops not working :S

Hi Guys,

Day Off work so though i would kill black ops all day, but the problem is it won't f**king load! worked fine last nite and which was before i updated! now i just get a black screen!

I've reflashed to make sure i was on LT+ 1.1 (liteon 7 series) and just burning another copy now!

I'll let you know if the new copy works, but have any of you guys had this problem?

Tempted to just got buy the orginal!

Tried Fallout new Vegas and loads no problem

my black ops don't work too, and xbox live cuts out. kinectimals is working, i just think its the cod game and xbox live is working.

do you think we are flagged now?

are there any other games what ain't working?

yeah mate.i updated mine a min ago, black ops dont load(just black screen),tried undead nightmare and vanquish they work fine.just black ops..my xbox takes longer to power off too...strange

Xbox LIVE Dashboard update:

On Wednesday, January 19th we will issue a mandatory dashboard update that (re) enables the ***8216;Boot to Disc***8217; option in the Xbox 360 dashboard. After you accept the update, you***8217;ll be able to set the option to boot to the Xbox 360 dashboard OR directly to the game you have in the tray when you power up your console. This option can be found in the System Settings.

Xbox.com update:

Additionally, on Thursday January 20th the Xbox.com team will ship an update that contains a small update to the Gamercards. We***8217;ve updated the Gamercard look and feel a bit and removed gamerzone from the card. Other than that, the same amount of information is on the card.


PS. My COD Black Ops Works Fine Online.

Could be that you guys have not patched the games causing this problem.

Yes. I run all my iso's through abgx make sure all check out.

Everything working fine here. So any games burnt and not checked since AP2.5 for anyone that just burns the isos without checking and patching may find they have a lot of coasters.

i think cod has ap2.5 on it now so, i think we are flagged. we will see in 14 days time.

Forgot COD Black ops does not have ap 2.5. So it cant be that.

Update: mate of mines cant load MW2 or Black OPS. Gets message saying contact ms support etc on screen when loading.

apparently ms has triggered ap25 on cod and halo reach
from what im reading
be patent and there should be a patch for the ap25 on abgx soon

so you will have to run your copy though abgx again a reburn

if you have LT+ then fortunately it protects you from being flagged

im sure you will here more on this matter within the next 12 hours or so

there has been no official word as yet

this is just what ive been reading from forums so this info may not be 100%

however it seems the only logical answer

just dont use these games untill you know more
