Xbox 360 Slim 2.5 Sata Hard Drive

I know I can put the old xbox 360 20gb hard drive into the new 360 bay using a bit of diy but can someone confirm this is the same hard drive.

A friend of mine has one of these and is bringing it down next week. Im just wondering if this will slot in, in the new 360 slim, and it is safe enough to use....

It will fit in the 360 but wont work like the 360 hdd, if your lucky you'll be able to format and use 20gb as a usb....if you want an hard drive to work like an original 360 hdd you need to buy a Western Digital hdd and download hddhackr

Hddhackr will only work with the following Western Digital Drives:
- WD Scorpio Series BEVS/BEAS
- WD Scorpio Blue Series BEVS/BEVT/BPVT
- WD Scorpio Black Series BEKT/BJKT
- WD VelociRaptor Series
- WD AV-25 Series BUDT
